These terms apply to every order on shop.byte4byte.co.za. The shop is run by Byte4Byte (Pty) Ltd (registration 2023/219740/07, VAT 4110316959), trading as Bits & Bytes. Our full company details are on the Contact us page.
Prices and payment
- All prices are in South African rand and include VAT at 15%.
- The delivery fee and any logo setup fee are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Payment is by card through Yoco. Your order is confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive our order email.
- If a price on the site is clearly wrong, we will contact you before processing the order. You may then cancel for a full refund.
Availability
If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will tell you, and refund you in full or offer an alternative.
Co-brand products and your logo
- When you upload a logo, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s trademark or copyright.
- You are responsible for any claim that arises from a logo you supply.
- We may decline logos that are offensive, unlawful or that we believe infringe someone else’s rights. If we decline, we refund you in full.
- Embroidery is a stitched reproduction. Fine detail, small text and gradients may be simplified, and thread colours are matched as closely as possible. Your stitch proof shows how the logo will look.
- Production starts only when you approve the stitch proof.
- Quantity prices apply to the total number of the same product in one order, across all sizes and colours.
Delivery, returns and warranty

Security of payments
Card payments are processed by Yoco on a secure, encrypted payment page. We never receive or store your card number.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. Within what the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, such as loss of profit, caused by a delay or fault.
